DOMUM

This is group work (20%)+ individual assignment (30%). 

We are allowed to form our group and produce 5 drawings which are site plan, floor plan, 2 elevations and 1 section drawing.

This project introduces us to drawing conventions, technical components, and construction-related needs in technical drawings. We will investigate and comprehend the applicability and complexities of drawing conventions used in practise as a form of communication under specific constraints. The goal is to comprehend the site's state, layout, furniture arrangements, and materials connected to the context/location in order to transform results into a visual presentation. To describe 3-dimensional space, we must utilise suitable scale, fundamental concepts, drawing standards, and symbols. Drawing convention and technological needs are prioritised.

Jancis, Eve, Wei Xin, Yong Liang and Cheah are my groupmates for this assignment. After grouping, we start to decide on the site, layout and furniture.

After finishing the group tasks, we started to plan our own layout. Although it is an individual task, we still discuss it together when facing problems with the scale or size of the furniture.

I try to get feedback from my lecturer every week to improve my plans to make sure the floor plan is workable. 
Reflection
I do learn a lot from my groupmates during this assignment. We discuss a lot of the things that we are not sure about and do research on it.  The conversation and process during this assignment are good.
Everyone were so supportive and proactive during the discussion.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

We discuss a lot about the site, location and furniture. Everyone has their own opinion thus we share our minds through conversation.

THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS

While planning the plans, I faced a lot of problems and I decided to reach out to my group mates and discuss them together. After discussing it, my problems were finally solved.

DISCIPLINE-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

We study a lot about the scale and searching the most suitable ways to arrange the floor plan. Since there is 30% of individual work, I need to be disciplined and manage my time well to complete the tasks.
