It is an individual work which has 20%. We are assigned to draw selected items with different methods to show the details. For category one, basic line drawing, simple perspective drawing and rendering are required to be done. Category 2 must include a top view, elevation view and section view. All drawings are required to be done in week4 which is on 13th May 2022.

Category 1
We are assigned to choose either fruits, flowers or decorative items for category one. We need to provide 3 drawings which are basic line drawing, perspective drawing and rendering drawing.
I choose the astronaut sculpture for category 1. I found out that the design is interesting although it will be more challenging for me. I keep getting feedback from my lecturer to build my confidence.
Category 2
The gadget is my choice for this category instead of choosing stationary and tools.
I decided to draw my watch after getting feedback from my lecturer.

Progress
Reflection
In the end, I was able to finish the task assigned in time. I improved my time management skill to show my progress every week and get feedback during the tutorial class. I also improved a lot on my drawing skills since I am not good at drawing before. I was surprised that I was able to get good results on this assignment. I was satisfied with my rendering drawing.
THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
I need to think before I start drawing the items I choose since the more interesting surface can help me a lot when I draw the items.
LIFELONG LEARNING
Through these assignments, I need to learn and understand more about the way to hatch and render.
DISCIPLINE-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
I need to be disciplined in learning how to hatch and render since I have never learned before. So I spend more time learning the skills.
